hey guys am new to the whole smartphonee thing, just wondering if the messenger agile charges my phone bill or is it free if am using wifi? thanks

Their should be no extra charge as long as you use the wifi. If you connect using the data access threw Cingular then you will.

Just use the wifi only and their will be no extra charges. Just make sure the data access from cingular dose not connect when using the program because sometimes it will.

Even if it connects via data it will not be charged as a text message. It will be charged as data. So if your on the unlimited data plan then send as many IMs as you want.

Yeah sorry that is what I ment. Their is no charge for aim messages since it is just using data. Since it is a third party peice of software it dose not have any connection with charges that aol makes if you use their software.

Yes you will notice in the bottum right conor their is a circle next to the battery. This will allow you to turn on and off your wireless connection. You need to set it up first which I am sure their is a post already detailing how to do it. It would explain it but I found it to be a little complicated for myself.

Once you start the wireless you will notice their will be a icon with a little tower on it on the top of the screen. If you click on this it will show which connection you are currently using. If your data connection from cingular happens to connect it will show it their and all you need to do is go back to the circul on the bottum and turn it off.
