I see a few different settings, MediaNet, GPRS, My ISP, My ISP GPRS.... it's a little confusing.
I have the ulimited plan for 39.99, and get push email, also get pop gmail. What internet connection should I be using?
Which one is Edge as i know that's the new faster one. Is one the older legacy (slower) one?
Thanks in advance, and pardon my ignorance.

You should use your GPRS which is what your data plan is for. The GPRS is the data connection cingular wireless provides and is part of the data plan. Alows you to surf the web, email, chat aim on your phone.
MediaNet - feature cingular has for text messaging and other applacitions. The only feature you will get out of it is the text messaging.
ISP - Internet Service Provider normally only applys to Lan networks. Example Comcast and Verizon for thier computer internet services high speed cable/DSL.
Since you have the 8125 you also have the feature of built in wireless connection but since you have the unlimate data plan their is no use to it since GPRS is mostly always connected.
