hey, the problem i'm having is this.. sometimes when i'm writing text, the symbols you can enter by holding down the red dot button are displayed instead of the letters (without me hitting the red button). It's like when you have the capslock key on and all the letters are capital, except it's like the red dot takes priority. I assume that there is a feature to give the red symbols priority and I hit it by mistake. the problem is, I don't know how to switch it back to normal text. thanks in advance for answering this dumb question. I appreciate everyone on this forum who have helped me.
thanks agan,

Your problem is basicly you use the red dot to do special characters like @ or to type # into a text feild. You press the button and then it wont go back to letting you type in regular text anymore such as letters ABCD.
The problem is when you hit the red dot twice it sets the keyboard only to the letters that are in red. Its the same concept as caps lock when you put caps lock on it sets all the keys to only be upercase. To solve this problem just hit the red dot twice again and it will allow you to type regular text it again.
Red Dot hit twice = all red characters only
To disange this just hit the red dot again twice.
**Note**
This is not a dumb qestion you asked its a problem I faced also when I first got the phone. That is what the forums are hear for, to help people out no matter what the qestion is.
