One things I loved about my newton was that it supported natively 2 modes, horizontal and vertical (I could turn the newton on its side and flip the display) ... my iPaq does not support this (except if Iinstall some software and even then its a hack which crashed my iPAq)...
would symbian ever make the UIQ support this function nativelly ?

That is something I was wondering...Doom can do it (flip the screen) perhaps it can be done. I guess you would need to read into the sdk for Symbian
