Well just took these shots. if you want any Specific shot just tell me ill be awake most of the night!

BTW- i did trade in my cu500 cause the new one Went A-wall on me so i have given up on Lg no more phone from them no matter what! my store also had the V3i which is cool but about 1 1/2 years old

Does the #*9324# (might be *#9324#) feature for field engineering mode work on the ZX-20 (work on almost all other Cingular GSM phones)

s2kvietboi,

Nice shots!

Most important thing to me: How does the RF hold up in an area of poor signal? The ZX10 I had didn't do so hot. It would drop calls/drop out/break up and was unable to make calls where my Nokias would do well.

Let's hope the ZX20 does better.

Posted by: stevefo

Also, How is the earpiece volume? I hope it's loud.

Posted by: ivwshane

Why didn't samsung just call it the zx10a?

Posted by: DigiPilot

Does it have the ability to record your phone conversations to the removeable flash memory card? Without playing any beeps* that the party on the other end will know that they're being recorded? And without having to key in a mile-long string of keystrokes to activate the phone recording process like as is the case with several other Sammys?

*In my state, it is perfectly legal to record your own phone conversations and not tell the other party.

Wow, that is a THICK phone! I do like the looks of it, though.

But.... I probably wouldn't buy it anyways. I was not happy with the firmware of previous Cingular Samsungs (I haven't figured out if it was Cingular branding or Samsung....)

Wow alot of questions ill do the best

formercanuck- no does not work i tested both numbers, that code worked for my cu500 i think thats where my probems where coming from.

WirelessAndy- hasnt droped a call yet and better recp. than my cu500.

stevefo- for calls its great for ringtones you might want to adjust your ringer on a program to raise the sound. its not that great cant hear it as loud as my old cu500.

DigiPilot- i dont know im going to try it now....... i cant record, like you said their was a way to do it. if you could tell me ill try it out.

Yup its a Fatty, lol. im going to wait til a new 3G phone comes out or get the new Samsungs ( unlocked ones) or wait for the new razr.

I don't understand why it's so fat. I feel like we are going backwards in time...

Here's a response I received over in the T-Mo forum about recording calls...

It can record up to an hour long with no beep or signal. It works for both phone calls and general speaker phone recording. Nobody would have a clue your recording them..

The way to do it is to press #*22671# it will then start recording. Then press the end call button to get back to the main screen. It will still be recording and will for one hour unless you stop it by pressing #*22672#. The file will save as a voice record with a name starting ENG.

i like skinny girls, but i've never turned down a fattie . seriously i agree with tuolumne, sammy really missed the mark with such awesome 3g models for europe and these bland designs for cingular with boring specs.

Excuse me for asking, but what is up with Cingular and antenna Samsung phones? Every other carrier that carries Samsungs has intenna phones, including T-Mobile, which carries some of the same Samsungs as Cingular, only difference being intenna.

Too bad Cingular did not tap Samsung for the SGH-ZV50 that Vodafone has.

2MP camera
2.2" 320x240 262K TFT
65K split level OLED
TransFlash
22.8mm thick

Or better yet, the SGH-Z560 HSDPA phone...

2MP camera
2.3" 320x240 262K TFT
128x128 65K external TFT
Stereo sound
Front touch sensitive media controls
16mm slim
TransFlash

Cu500 who???

Posted by: macizcool

Wow, that's sweet

Posted by: sdfrfv

Why he blame cingular for samsung's problem.
Europe 3G phone can't come to US directly. US UMTS band(850/1900) is different from europe UMTS band(2100).

Well of course not, but changing bands on the device is something Samsung does every day and is hardly a task that would keep a phone from not launching.

oh really? please tell me you are kidding

Posted by: tuolumne

You really believe that Samsung, the worlds largest consumer electronics label with revenues in excess of $57 Billion and a market cap of over $100 Billion, is wholey incapable of changing the bands on one of it's handsets around?

Again, delusional?
