i need help on putting ringtones into vx8300

not sure why my vx8300 turns off when i add ringtones to it. this is what i do:

i add the mp3 file, convert it to mono/16Khz/32kbps, crop it, send phone data, check the box next the ringtone, and click OK.

is there something i'm doing wrong?

or you can email them to yourphonenumber@vzwpix.com then open the message up and save as a ringtone
