Menu File problem in SLVR L7

After taking back-up of the original mma_ucp and mma_dcp file, i loaded some another menu file. When i changed back to my original menu file, im facing the following problems:

(1) In the main menu, only the 'right direction key' is working, i.e i cant go up,down or left. I can only navigate to the right regardless of which direction button i press. For example, if im on 'Settings' and i wanna go to 'Bluetooth Link', i've to go round 'Phonebook', then 'Recent Calls' then 'Messages' and so on. (This layout is of default menu file).

(2) When i select 'Multimedia', 'Tools' or 'Bluetooth Link', in their respective menus... i can see the icons but as soon as navigate to the next icon, the previous icon vanishes or fades away, i.e its not visible.For example, in 'Multimedia', when i navigate from 'Pictures' to 'Sounds', the 'Pictures' icon vanishes.And so after i've navigated all the 5 icons in 'Multimedia'(Pictures, Sound, Camera, Videos, Video Camera), i dont see any of the icons. Its happening with all the 3 mentioned above. plz help. thnx.
