Just talke to SE phone sales and the P800 is due on the 14th... YES in 2 days and will ship out Monday. As of right now 643pm pst they have 200 orders and 245 coming in. I ordered mine and expect it on Wednesday. I cant wait. Also he told me they are shipping from reno, NV.

Hi I placed the order too and when I called today evening around 5pm est they said end of feb and didnt give me a specific date. The phone number i called was 1-866-837-7290 and then option 1 , option 3
Can you please tell me which number u called.

1-866-837-7290 is the number i called, and the sales guy checked the computer and said 245 coming in and 200 already sold.

I just hung up the phone and was told mid-march. I guess we have to wait until someone gets one, and then, of course, they'll be back-ordered anyway.

feb 14th, wow, 1 more day... i really hope i made it for the 1st batch, hey when did he say the 2nd shipment of p800's was gonna come in? so that means they will start shipping tomorrow? on the 14th? and when did you place your order? i placed mine on the feb 6th or 7th... do you think i made it for the 1st batch of shipments? last i heard the 1st shipments will be from feb 14th-17th and 2nd shipment will be feb 24th... can't wait...

i think mine, might ship from maryland instead... he said it depends on your location...

Sorry i did not get his name, all i remember was that he had an accent. Sounded like he was Spanish. See its weird because other members have called and have been told mid march, but htis guy specifically told me that they had 45 left to sell

Well i really think it's true, C-Net finally posted a release date for the p800 and it said Feb 14th! And plus other ppl called and was told the same as you...

can't wait!

and plus i cant even access the SE eshop p800 handset page! must mean they're updating it...

I can access the page, but I think it's a little brighter on my screen than it was yesterday, so I know that means for sure the release is imminent!!!

When I called SE to ask about my pre-order, the person who answered sounded like a red-head, which is another certain indicator that the phone will be released tomorrow.

I just called SE. The guy I spoke to said anytime between end of feb and mid march. I told him that some one I know spoke to them and they said feb 14th. He sid that he doesnt have that info. He aslo said that they wont be getting 245 units but they will be getting around 160 by the end of march. So I'm really confused. Why cant they have competent people working there

sigh this is really startin to piss me off bad... how come nobody knows a damn thing there? I'm getting different answers all the time, sigh... ****, wtf... ppl who work at SE don't even know when there own damn products are suppose to ship, i'm sick n tired of all this guessing, will someone come out with a more precise answer then from now til end of march, thats like ****in 2 months, **** wtf...

im really hoping for a release tomorrow or if not the 17th at least cause that's when opera will be officially out, so maybe SE is waiting for opera so that they can ship it with the p800's... sigh.

CNet did not post a 2/14 release date. When they posted a preliminary review on 1/27, they said that you would be able to ORDER it online from SE beginning 2/14. SE opened the online order site a little earlier than that.

Just got off the phone SE, the guy I talked to said they have already gotten a shipment in and all are gone, and not one to me, and I placed my order sometime ago, earlier this month. So dunno, gonna wait till wednesday and pray.

Calm Down... You've waited all this time without freaking out and now don't let some inaccurate info make you crazy. I think TomTom is the only one who is understanding what’s going on here.

If you’re prepared for the middle of March anything sooner will be a treat... and leave it at that.

Btw I ordered (2) P800s from SE on the 5th. I'm just as anxious as you are but patient that the release is this close. I just hope all the SW is updated (like R1D) and more of the bugs chased out!

Remember we could be waiting for slowpoke T-Mobile to divulge their release date and that could be…who knows!
I’m thankful that SE has made the P800 available now and at such a reasonable price. Hang in there it coming!

Also... You'd be better off checking your Charge Card Balance to see if SE has put through the charge. They won't send the phone without that and it's my way to check if somethings actually on the way.

i think they're released today, UK release is definetly confirmed already, so most likely SE is releasing the p800 to the rest of the world it seems like...

According to SE sales, some were released today and others should filter in every week. I keep on hearing different stories about how many actually came in and how many were sold. I even had one SE sales guy not even know about the P800 !!

One told me there were 200 sold and another told me 167 sold. I know they have been released because SE had said they have shipped 25 out. Who knows ? SE doesnt....
