I have an MPX220, but one feature i miss from my old Vxxx phone is that I can't record phone conversations. is there any program that can do this? or am i not aware of a feature included in the smartphone software?

Voiceminder seemed kinda cool. Crashed out on me too much so I unloaded it.

Hit a button, it records, hit a button it stops, hit a button it e-mails the wav file to preset account.

Very good app for voicenote type people who want to listen later at the office,

I am not aware of any for WM but mVoice makes a really good program. Unfortunately, it only works with Palm but I used it frequently when I had a Treo.

Perhaps if WM users put some pressure on them they will consider developing a program for us.

you would need to upgrade to WM5 as that is the only platform i know of that has the ability to do it and even then you need third party soft ware to do it I use Vito audio notes but I am hoping that JC Vnotes pro will add the feature when he does his WM5 upgrade version

Is there a WM5 upgrade for the mpx220?

no there is no upgrade for the MPx220. Sux i know.

i use PMRecorder. it was free.

PMRecorder is for WM5.
If it is based on .NET 2.0 then perhaps it would work on WM2003 as well (providing you install .NET2 first) but I haven't try it. You can ask those who made it.

OK so I tried to record a phone with my mpx220 and vito audio notes 1.11 and had no success. In fact if i started recording first and then got a call the other party could not hear me at all and the recording was useless and did not pick up the other party iether. Then i tried starting the recording after already being in a call and the app would simply not allow me to start a new recording.

So I have yet to find a way to record a phone call on a mpx220 I hope someone can find a way some day.

again this is for WM5 platform and the topic here is for WM2003 devices and below good find though although I my self use vito voice notes

?

does your copy of vito audio notes create a folder called programs on your start menu ever time you open it. Mine does and its driving me nuts, its a hacked .exe though ver 1.11 you think it could be a trojan.

How about testing something first before stating misleading info next time?

Anyways.
Long time ago when I first got my first WinMob2003 smartphone I have tried (with mixed results) to record phone calls with RJV Sound Recorder.
AFAIR the caller's voice was recorded very fainted, you could barely hear it.
Maybe there is a newer version of this app?
(I may try to check it out myself too tonight when I get home).

actually i alraedy ahve a file called program in my start menu the reason being every time I delete it it came back and its not VITO that does it its the ROM you have two choices A utilise it or B use file manager and set its properties to hidden this then hides it from being seen in the start menu although I don not know if it works for any thing under WM5
