i have a motorola razr v3 black and i been having problems with it cause it was used, i have insurance on my account, my question is if i report the phone lost or stolen can i still use the phone with my sim card or would they somehow deactivate the phone from any usuage at all?

it would not be for fun or profit i was not planning on selling it, it has problems with it and has got some water damage. i wanted to keep the phone as a test phone, not like i was gonna get a new one and sell a damaged phone to somebody wouldnt that be kinda pointless?

if you report it lost or stolen,you are doing something fraudulent, but asurion will send you a razr(color is not guaranteed).you should just tell them it is damaged and send it to asurion upon arrival of your replacement handset.its the honest and legal thing to do.
