CU500 bluetooth/ringtone problem

I can't transfer files from phone to PC, it just says "sending failed" although PC to phone works fine.
Also, I can't use MP3s as my ringtones. They're under 600kb so I don't know what the problem is. like 35 seconds or something. It says "non-acceptable content".
anyone know what could be causing this?
