hello all, my computer crashed and lost everything i need help connecting my phone back to bitpim.I had this working before but can't seem to get it to work again? Am i missing a file? I install the drivers that came with the cables and everything seems to be ok, it's just when i open bitpim it's not connecting to phone. i'm going crazy trying to figure this out? the phone that i'm using is the telus lg-8100. the usb drivers disc for vx3200/vx7000. i'm running win xp.

Are you sure you have the Data Cable plugged into the same port the drivers are installed on? Also make sure you have your phone and port setup in Bitpim.

when i plug in usb i hear the beep sound and the no hardware wizard pops up. so i know that the drivers are installed correctly. as for phone set up in bitpim how do u set the port configurations? i have the com set to com 4 where the drivers r installed and also have the phone model in the pop up in bitpim. what else could be the problem?
