i am about to buy S55 just want to know if this phone has photo phone book available?!(so call photo ID or something)

In the phone book there is an option that says picture when you're putting in all the contact info...... for photo ID. I use it works great just remember to make the pics 101x80 pixels in size

How big do the pictures show up on the phone when someone calls? Are they little dinkey pictures that you can barely see, or are they the size of the screen?

Can i take pics with my digi cam...send them to the pc, and then to the phone?

yes....... just size them to 101x80 pixels

n/p Use bmp format tho... I find it gives you clearer images on the s55... I tried jpeg and gif... good but bmp BETTER

What programs can i use to make the pic 256 colors, crop it to 101x80 pixels, and get the best quality out of it?

you can use any photoshop program... try the one that comes stock with your pc... most pc's have a paint program in the accessories menu. If you have Adobe you can use that aswell. I have just started using Adobe (I prefer it) Hope that helps.
