I brought the Music essentials kit from Verzion yesterday, I installed the drivers fine, then i went to install V Cast music, it said that a new version of WMP was already installed (I.E. WMP 11), I went to Sync music, it appears for like 2 seconds than i get connection failed (on the phone), than I roll back to WMP 10, and i try to install V cast again, than it says WMP 10 can not complete, than I went to sync music again it was there for 2 seconds and than i got connection failed.

So my real question is how do i get it from stopping connection failed and for WMP to recognize it

Pretty much the same problem here except with WMP 10 i had no probblems syncing untill yesturday i upgraded to WMP 11 tryed to sync and i got connection failed so i removed WMP 11 and reinstalled WMP 10 off of the MEK disc tryed to sync and still get connection failed. Could someone help because i really dont want to have to downgrade to V01 and lose all my stuff so i can take it to verizon and have them look at it. Thanx.

V CAST Music is not currently supported in Windows Media Player 11(Beta).

if you have system restore turned on you maybe able to use that to roll back to the way things were before you installed wmp11. the 11 install may have changed some drivers or something that the 10 install didn't change back.

downgrading with microsfot programs usually sucks.
