Noob Gophone Questions.

Ok, So I am currently on a plan with 2 other relatives, and I use my phone A LOT! Our bill is getting pretty expensive for some reason and I was looking at the GoPhone option.

There was a pay per use plan on there, it was $0.10 per minute, but it had Unlimited Mobile to Mobile. I only call Cingular cellphones, and there is a $1.00 a day usage fee for every day I use my phone. It is also $0.10 a minute for Night and Weekends, but still includes Mobile to Mobile.

This will sound like a really stupid question, but I have to have this confirmed. Since there is unlimited mobile to mobile and I only call cingular phones, what will I be charged monthly? Is there something I am missing?

Now, part 2.

I need to know the best GoPhone.

I like a camera, bluetooth, etc. But I have a Motorola SLVR I plan on keeping, so I can just put the SIM card into that. I was looking at the Pantech c300, it looks like a neat little phone. I am open to ANYTHING but the Razr. I have already had one.

Help is greatly appriciated!

You buy prepaid cards which have different expiration dates based upon their value. You must have a balance high enough to make a call to use mobile to mobile. This equates to $1.10 on the plan about which you asked. The $1.00 usage fee is charged the next day while the $0.10 per minute is charged as you use the phone.

If you are trying to save money, you should get the cheapest phone they offer. Also bear in mind that multimedia messages use data at the rate of $0.01 per kilobyte which could be expensive compared to the pay per use cost.

This is what I really don't understand?

Because the day runs from midnight to midnight, they wait until the day is over before they charge for day of use. This also allows for delays in updating the usage. If you average fewer than seven minutes per day, the $0.25 fixed charge per minute is cheaper. You can check out the GoPhone page to see how each plan works.

Hi,there is no monthly charge, only the $1 a day charge on days that you use your phone and you can use you Motorola SLVR since you will still be using the same carrier.
The plan you've selected is probably the best for you if you plan to use a lot of mobile to mobile minutes.
