HELLO ... Yes I'm new ~ I have an unlocked *HOT PINK* Motorola V3 RAZR (unbranded, bought on eBay) My provider is Cingular ... I can't use the web, send texts w/pictures, email, etc. Cingular CS rep tells me since it's unlocked & not from Cingular I have to send the phone to Motorola so they can flash it w/the Cingular stuff (yeah right I'm sending my phone anywhere) I've tried searching the forum but I can't find the right thread to help me out with how to do this myself ... Please help ~ THANK YOU'S!!

Both those sites look very promising ... However, I don't feel "knowledgable" enough yet ... I'm not sure I completely understand what the differences are between Flashing & Flexing (should I do one or the other or both?) and what are SEEMs? and what are the differences between MonsterPacks and P2KMan and all the other programs (?) I've tried reading through all the "guides" and "how to's" so I can educate myself and what everything is (I like doing research so I can REALLY understand everything) but I still don't understand the differences

Any more info you can send my way will be greatly appreciated (I HATE NOT UNDERSTANDING THINGS!!)

have you tried cingulars ota assistance? log onto your cingular account, at the top under my account click on phone/device - when the next page comes up, click on more support? on the left side - on the next page enter motorola and V3 - click next - under device setup, click on auto configure device for media services they will send the settings to your phone.
