Wallpaper not moving on RAZR V3

In the user manual for the V3 it says that: "You can add a photo, picture or animation as a wallpaper (background) image in your phone's home screen."

Ok, um.... how do you add an animation as a wallpaper? I have sent a few .gifs to my phone and everytime I set them as my wallpaper, they don't move. They will move when I look at them in the gallery, but not as the wallpaper. Do I need to use a different file type for them to move? Please let me know. Thanks!

Wallpaper doesnt move on the phone background screen ..... But if you set it as screen saver it will move for you ......
