Yesterday, I saw a small Vodafone shop at 1st floor of my apartment building are being rebranded into SoftBank. Here some pictures that I've took using my V904SH ... You can see clearly in some part of the pictures, a red "vodafone's stuff" still left at some part of the shops. Btw, I live at 5th floor of that building

I must say that I like the Voda logo better, the SoftBank logo is very bland and just sterile in a business way.
Great photos by the way faisa...

Cheers, LL-

The original SoftBank logo is not too bad IMO...

I have no idea why they cange the yellow stripes into silver stripes for their mobile coorp... It's better with yellow stripes IMO...
At least... It does have "colors"...

*corny joke alert*

is it just me or does anyone else want to walk in there looking for an ATM?

yah softbank is such a misleading name...i would probably walk in in search for atm if i didnt know about phones

Yes, the Softbank logo and colors are simply boring boring boring (and yes, I've been a designer for about 20 years). Vodafone wasn't the best, but at least the colors and ID were appealing and not as quiet as Softbank. Who knows how all this will turn.

Softbank changed the lines to silver because they thought that silver being the 'original colour' of mobile phones, it would be more appropriate. I agree with you guys though, the Softbank logo is quite boring compared to the Vodafone one (particularly the newer Vodafone logo being used around the world now, which looks a bit more lively).

I was wondering- did this company go through any other rebrandings? I seem to remember that before Softbank and Vodafone this company used to be called something else...

It was originally J-Phone.

And before that it was called 'Digital Phone'. It's gone through quite a few rebrandings now...
