How many contacts will the p800 actually hold. Ericsson told me only 500.. I find this hard to believe.. I currently have 2,500+ in my palm?

I have heard 1,000 (or actually, have read that). But, I don't see why it shouldn't be limited only by the memory available. When I got the P800, I decided to put contacts I haven't spoken to in many years to an "inactive" folder in Outlook (been keeping a computer database for 20 years), so I downsized from 1,500 to about 600, so I can't tell you for sure.
