ok.. i just purchased it with 2 year contract.. and got it for free.
im wondering, can i use monster pack (flex) it to unbranded one?
because i don't like how i can't use my own ringtones on it.

You don't need to flash it to use your own ringtones. You can flash it and unbrand it easily, but you can still use the Original firmware and use whatever ringtone you want.

You don't even have to flash it to unbrand it, just delete the unwanted files.
If you want ringtones, get them. P2K, Bluetooth, MPT, WAP, however you want. Moto puts no restrictions on what you can use as a ringtone.
