I think it's time to leave Cingular, becaause I have been offered another job.

My question is, what happens with my benefits? Most importantly like the 100 hours of combined vacation, excused no pay, designated holiday, sick pay etc. Do I get any of these paid out?

I don't think any of those are reimburseable. You are entitled to those benefits as an employee, once you are no longer employed you no longer are entitled. I can't say for certain but that would be my guess.

Or any markets that are part of CWA, as it's part of the contract.

Wanna know how I know?

They actually paid out my vacation twice and never noticed.

When I quit cingular (former blue employee) took a bunch of vacation because I wanted the commission they pay you when you go on vacavtion (it used to be $50 a day, now it's $40).

If I didn't do that would I have been paid the commission if I just took the vacation pay out?

Go on your vacation and tell them after the first few days you'll be leaving in two weeks. Finish out your vacation and work remaining days. DOCUMENT EVERYTHING and check your state laws on wrongful dismissal/employment at will/right-to-work... Just in case.

If you're under CWA contract you don't have to do any of this crap. Your vacation gets paid out.
