Need Help! Razr V3c .04 to .03 firmware

I apologize ahead of time if this is in the wrong place or if it has been answered already, but I did a search and tried to find it.

Last night I upgraded my Razr V3c phone from the .03 firmware up to the .04 firmware, basically for some of the little features and to see if it would fix a different problem that I had. Of course it didn't fix the problem and now I have to take the phone in to a technician to see if he can fix it. Of course, I made a n00b move, and tried going back to the .03 firmware....only to find out that I have features from both firmwares now (basically a little color and the Get Going option). Is there any way to go back to the original .03 firmware without all the extra features?

Which provider do you have? Verizon? Alltel? Bell? Telus? someone else?

What exact firmwares did you use??

i.e. when you say .04 and .03... was it...
Verizon's GATW_X_01.0F.03P and GATW_X_01.0F.04P
or Alltel's GATW_X_04.04.00R or what??
