Beware of woowoof101 ebay seller

I won an ebay auction for a P800 on February 3 from a seller called woofwoof101 on Ebay.

I sent her $700 via paypal that same night expecting that the phone would be shipped out the next day... The next day, I had not heard back and I wrote her to inquire about the transaction.

2 days later (February 5) she wrote back, assuring me that she was about to ship the phone the next day and that she would send me the tracking # as soon as she shipped the phone.

Another 2 days went by and I still didn't hear anything. I wrote her back and requested that she refund my money... She did not respond and I finally reported her to Paypal...

Paypal is currently conducting an investigation and I am hoping that they will be able to get my money back....

But to all of you out there who are thinking about buying a P800, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER.... She has ripped me off.

hmm, seems to me, there are a lot of people who hate ebay..... and many for the reason above (getting scammed)....... however..... just like any store (online or not), you should still do research about the seller before buying...

#1 - seller has 3 feedback
#2 - all the auctions have private bidders (Why is that? I'll tell you why. It is so that you cannot contact the other bidders from past auctions to ask about THEIR purchase)
#3 - Seller is relatively new (only a few months worth of selling)
#4 - NO successful expensive transactions done....

the list can prolly go one.... but for all you future ebay buyers, do some research. It's people who don't do any and get ripped off that usually think ebay is a scam place. While there are a lot of scammers on ebay, use common sense and you won't get ripped off.

This is not meant to offend you kamil in any way, but just some friendly advice for future ebay purchasers. I hate it when word gets spread that ebay is crap (usually due to many posts like yours above), when in fact it's a great place to buy/sell.

Hi,

No offense taken and I do agree with you.... I think that I will end up getting my money back (thanks to Paypal)....

The main purpose of my posting was not to say that ebay is crap. I happen to think that ebay is great and serves it purpose very well. The main purpose of my posting was to alert the general community to that particular seller and to make sure that no else makes the mistake I made.....

kamil,

i symphatize with you too. a friend of mine recently "won" an auction at ebay concerning a SE P800. according to my friend, pamzilla sold her the phone for US$500 and requested payment via western union.

this pamzilla person then assured my friend that the phone will be mailed and send my friend a tracking number.

after numerous emails to this pamzilla creep, he or she never responded to my friend.

so if ever this creep tries to sell you anything - DON'T BUY FROM HIM/HER. pamzilla is a thief and a scammer!

avoid pamzilla at all costs!

I use private auctions so that no can email my bidders with intent to steal my customers, but it really to me depends on what I am selling not rea;;y what it is worth...but yeah you should always do your research
