Ringtones wont play

I am able to put the ringtone to my phone perfectly no flaws. I can also set the audio file as a ringtone also. The problem is when someone calls my phone the ringtone wont play at all. I put the ring style at master. I'm using a Verizon RAZR V3m. Any help is appreciated(Btw i deleted the 2 files already with BitPim and i also puit the audio files(ringtones) with MPT)

Maybe this will help, I just had that problem. I went in to one of the contacts, selected the ringtone box (it was already filled), then SET scrolled to any song, played it, then went back to the tone I had before. Then it worked. Hope it does for you too!!!

Do the files play when you try via the "get tones & tunes" menu on the phone?

Did you make the tones yourself?

Can you try with one of the RING TONES at http://mark.cdmaforums.com and see if you have the same issue?

I ran into a similar problem awhile back when I accidental put MP3's in the ringtone folder instead of the audio folder. They would show up in Get Tunes and Tones, play fine but would not work as ringtones. I moved them to the audio folder and all worked fine.
