Hi,

Does anybody know what registry set up needs to be done so my cingular 8125 can work with tomtom 5? Actually, is this a smartphone or a pocket PC?
What tomtom version would be appropriate (for pocket PC or for smartphone )?

I knew how to do it for my MPX220 but the 8125 seems diferent.

Thanks in advance for any suggestion!

Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MASCHINE\ControlPanel\GPS Settings
Delete the DWORD marked "hide"
Add a DWORD called "Group" and give it the value of "2"
The GPS panel will now show up in your connection settings

***Note: You must delete 'Redirect' and 'Hide' keys completely***
Soft restart, wait 30 seconds, restart and viola, GPS Control Panel is now enabled.
NB 2=show; 1=hide GPS icon

Thank you for your reply.
Now I realized I wasn't quite specific in my initial message. The problem I have is not the actual blue tooth connection with a GPS. I can do the so called pairing, no problem. The problem I have is when I start TomTom. TomTom doesn't “see” my GPS. It says that the GPS is not paired with my smartphone, although it is. On my MPX220, I was doing a registry set up in the HKEY_LOCAL_MASCHINE\ControlPanel\Bluetooth.
This is what I was thinking I have to do as well for my 8125 but the registries are named a bit different and I am not familiar with 8125 so I was hoping to get some advise how to do the actual set up.

Thank you in advance!
