I've sent numerous ringers to my phone via bitpim and my data cable...I haven't used it in a while..today i tried it and for some reason it wasn't recognizing my phone, so i had to reinstall the software and drivers...now my phone is recognized...but when i go to send the ringer to my phone i get a message saying "COM6:could not open port: (2, 'create file', The system could not find the file specified.')" anyone have any clue why this is coming up?

I just started getting a similar error message myself. I haven't used the cable in a while and it worked fine before. Now getting the error message when I use the cable.

I switched back to my BT USB Dongle and it still works fine... just tends to be slower for data transfer.

Anyone have any ideas why the USB cable might be experiencing this issue? I even went in and changed my "PC Connection" settings to select USB instead of Bluetooth but it still didn't work.
