(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Can I download it(buying it of course) from any site. I found it for $39.00. But I do not need the cable. I all ready have one from a programable universal remote. I just want MPT, and I want it asap. And also I am assuming the higher the version the better, right?

I own a Razr V3c

If you want to be 100% sure you get a legal/legit copy....

Purchase from BVRP's web site at -> http://www.bvrp.com/customers/motor...ng/selector.htm its listed as $29.99...

Additionally you can use promotion code tech97 to get a 15% discount off. Another code that I was told works is BVRPUS. I am told BOTH can be combined to save even more...

Otherwise, take your chances and purchase an older copy from one of the many sellers on Ebay, and when you get it, go through all the downloads to live update it to the current version... be advised, I've seen many reports of people getting a PIRATED copy from an eBay seller.. so "Buyer beware"...

i got mine for $14.99! it works friggin amazing!! i'm having no problems! got rid of the shutter sound, i have full mp3 songs as a playlist, mp3 ringtones...transferring pics, vids....very cool! no games yet. that's the next step!

I thought it was actually legal to 'download' MPT, if u legally owned a motorola?
Though my SLVR came with the CD and cable , why don't all USB compatible phones come with MPT or a cable?

Motorola and BVRP SELL MPT as an accessory separately. Moto has the Software and cable for $59.99 on their web site. BVRP has the software by itself for $39.99 off their main web site, or $29.99 at the link I posted earlier...

It is not bundled with any motorola phone I've purchased.

I purchased a Startac, V60i, T730, V710 and E815... None came with any sync software or data cable. It was available separately... (V60/T730 were supported by TrueSync from Starfish)

Looking at Cingular and T-Mobile's web sites, I don't see MPT or data cable being included with the L2 or Razr V3's listed... While I do see USB Data cable with the Slvr L7 on Cingular's web site, it doesn't mention anything but iTunes CD...

So, maybe SOME 3rd party dealers bundle it? But then you have to ask yourself, with the cost of it separately... Are they including a legit copy or not? I mean, why not just sell it separately and make a few extra bucks?

Btw, Notice how cellcables.com sells an "Advanced CD" for the Verizon Moto E815 to "unlock" the ability to ring tones picts, etc -> http://www.cellcables.com/motorola-...-wallpapers.php Someone posted a copy of what is on this CD... Along with a PDF file detailing the Seem Edit process, it included a copy of Moto's PST... And seeing as the entire kit sells for under $40 and includes the UNIPATCH rather than the hardware dongle for the copy protection... You have to suspect that is NOT a legal copy of PST on that CD... So there are some suspect dealers out there...

@Mark Venture - just FYI - most of the unlocked gsm moto's direct from HK do inlude everything in the package. It seems the providers don't buy them that way to keep their costs down.
