I need some help guys, I've had a lot of experience with s60 phones but this is my first UIQ phone, so I'm a total noob here. I did a master reset to try to fix some errors and I lost some stuff...is there any way to get what I lost back after a master reset? I didn't read carefully and accidentally deleted all my installed applications. I don't even know what I lost for sure...is there anyway to get the games back?

Wirelessly posted (SonyEricssonP990i/R100 Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Symbian OS; 306) Opera 8.60 [en])

the short answer is no.

you have to reinstall them. some of the stuffs that came with the phone could be downloaded at SE website under fun download. you have to search else where for the goft game.

Thanks for the reply...too bad about the games, oh well, I don't like golf anyways lol.

I went to sonyericsson.com/support and checked in several places but couldn't find the new firmware for the P990, all I found was the updater, which I did download. Is that all I need to do the update to the latest firmware?

Oh and is there a way for the P990 to connect dial-up networking through bluetooth and dial-up through my N73 to establish a internet connection? I've tried to experiment with some of the connection setting types but haven't been successful yet. I was just wondering if anyone else was able to do something like this.

I did a master reset and lost all applications that came from factory but after I flashed the new firmware they were all back. Themes, games, everything...

Also, I did a second flash (with the same firmware) and the phone it's a little better.
