8125 Bluetooth Audio

Alright friends. I'm pulling my hair out and my eyes are bleeding. I just spent the last 1-2 hours scrolling through the 8125 thread (95 pages of hacks/downloads, etc) and can't find something I'm looking for. Months back, someone posted a registry edit for the 8125 that enabled Bluetooth audio. It's NOT that Bluetooth "toggle" program, this was a registry edit. You'd simply depress the answer/hangup button on your Bluetooth headset and audio would come through on the headset. Unfortunately, I resently had to reset my phone b/c I had to set up GoodLink again on my phone. Now I can't find this registry edit anywhere. I've searched MoDaCo, Omega's MGN threads and here.

Does anyone know this registry "tweak"? If so, would you please post it, or point me to it?

Thanks,
gps

P.S. That toggle program stinks simply b/c it's not as nice/easy as the registry tweak.

• Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\?VoiceCommand
• Modify the string marked "path" from the default \Windows\SDDialer.exe to \Program Files\Voice Command\VoiceCMD.exe

So, am I supposed to point it to VoiceCMD.exe file....a file that I don't have installed????

This reg tweak was something that had to do with bluetooth.

Can't believe I can't find this again AND nobody seems to know/remember it. Extremely frustrating.

FYI...tried the above without first thinking about it and it didn't work. That's what brought about this email.

Well, I finally figured out the Bluetooth Audio. If you install MS's VoiceCommand trial and let the trial run out, Bluetooth Audio will continue to work. If you're playing some type of audio, you simply depress the button on your Bluetooth headset and all of the audio is directed to your headset. Simple as that. Not toggling, no nothing. When you want to turn it off, simply depress the button on your headset. Simple as that and VERY NICE.
