904SH, How to save mms/sms to miniSD?

Been trying to figure this out for a while.. does anyone know how to save mms/sms to miniSD? or if not that, forward all sms/mms to another email address?

To backup go Main Menu -> Settings -> Connectivity Tab -> Memory Card -> Backup/Restore -> Backup

Then select which folder you want to backup, received messages, sent messages or drafts.

If you want to send them to another phone or device you can do it through Bluetooth or infra-red, but you have to send the whole folder over, and I'm not sure what phones or if a PC would be compatible or not. If you want to do this, you do it from the Bluetooth or Infra-red menus under the Connectivity tab.

I have the same problem on the 903!
But if I go Main Menu -> Settings -> Connectivity Tab -> Memory Card -> Backup/Restore -> Backup then I not have the possibility to select received messages, sent messages or drafts.Why?

It's simple, the 903SH cannot save any messages. Only other data (address book, memo, the calendar). The 'save messages' feature was implemented in the 904SH.

Yep exactly, this is only possible on the 904SH, 905SH and 705SH. All phones before that can't backup messages.

The 904 that you sell is unlocked?Does it works in Italy?

But the 904 and 905 can save sms directly on pc or first on the minisd?

All Sharp handsets (so far, incl. 904SH, 905SH and others) save the SMS to the phone's memory by default. Only backup is done to the MiniSD. There is yet no unlock for 904SH available.

No problem

Yes messages can be saved to SIM card... select the message, push the left soft key, select Advanced and then SIM Sync. The message is copied to the SIM card and synchronised with the phone's copy. This is only guaranteed for Euro firmware; not sure if it works on others or if SIM Sync is called something else.
