Ive used the data cable to get online on my remix but it wasnt very fast.. I plugged it into my Laptop and used the phone as a modem.. Is there a way I can make it faster.. My friend has a Razr and he gets high speed internet or at least faster then the normal dialup when he uses his as a modem.. Does it matter how many bars you get as to how fast the internet will be??

I assume everything works faster if u have more bars.....but I'm not sure I can answer the question because I have yet to use my phone as a wireless connection

My friend had one bar, two bars tops and his was fast internet.. I have only tried mine with 1 bar and it was slow, not unbearable slow but slow enough to not be worth the hassle.. Id like to find a way to make it faster because Im going to be needing it alot starting this week...

It all depends on the network and how your cdma modem is configured. You can't get 3g if your not on a 3g network. If you are rual it might be why.
