and now i'm kinda screwed .

well not kinda screwed totaly screwed... i got a vers 3 copy of MPT and was getting it to upgrade, aiming for version 4 got 2 updates then it wouldnt get another before it wanted to know the device .. i'm an idiot !! i was scrolling over the avail options and ended up telling MPT vers 3 that my V3m was a Generic CDA device.

well MPT ver 3 talked to the phone and now it ..it wont music sync or be detected by windows media player.. it freezes when i try and play music from my music on trans flash in phone.

i have since gotten bitpim and can access the phone thru it but i'm kinda lost as to how to proceed to get my phone back to the original point it was , from verizon,

so i can then go forward with tweaking the vibrate mode so it shakes harder. and i was hoping to check out some of the things i've read here and at wireless advisor . i've poured over alot of posts .. apparently no one else clicked when they shoulda canceled and had vers 3.24 ry and call the v3m a generic cdma.

i have MPT new version 4.24 now as well as all the pk2 and assoc files

oh yeah one last issue i originaly had connected it and synced with WMP 10 , by leaving it off , installing the driver , then using the fix file worked great.

i had uninstalled everything hoping that reinstalling would take care of it . now it only seems a v3c modem .. it never says new hardware found for the second time around , when the phone is on and doesnt recognize the V3m for music sync
