Imate KJam touchscreen problem (only when in landscape)

Hi all

My Imate KJam's touchscreen has been going mad when the phone is in landscape mode and the keyboard is flipped out. It sometimes presses random buttons by itself or scrolls down the screen. Also the touchscreen only seems to work periodically and then only on about the bottom 1cm of the screen.

When the phone is in portrait mode it works perfectly, no problems at all even with the touchscreen.

Any ideas?

Maybe start by trying a soft reset if you haven't already? If not and it's really bugging you then maybe a hard reset ! But you'll lose all data.

Hi, thanks for the reply but I've sorted this now, I completely forgot about this post!

There was a small bit of grit in-between the bezel and the touchscreen membrane which was partially pressing down on the screen, this meant when it was in landscape mode, just brushing against the bezel was the equivalent of pressing the bottom right menu button
