Hello! if i were to buy a cingular Go phone, could i just put my sim card in it and use it as part of my regular cingular plan?

Some of the newer GoPhones might be SIM locked and will only work momentarily with another SIM card. One reported model is the Motorola V190.

If you are looking for another phone or a backup, you could use a GoPhone or look on eBay for a Cingular locked or unlocked GSM phone. If you are looking for something basic, you can find them for under $50 on eBay.
