Does anyone know a good copy/cut/paste app for wm5?

I love my qtek8500, but I would like an app that would let me select and copy text from say a contacts field and then paste it into the calendar field.

anyone have any ideas?

thanks

I believe xbar 3 includes that function.

In my search for a copy/cut/paste option for the qtek8500, i first tried IMenu, but apparently is does not work on the 8500(possibly not on wm5)

It seems xbar 3 has this functionallity, but xbar 3 does not have a trial option and with the ifyness of any given software on any given hardware I am not anxious to buy software without trying it

I found Nine way keypad(2.2) which adds this functionallity. It takes some getting used to, but it works. It is cheeper than xbar 3 by a few bucks, as of know i'll probably purchase it when the trial expires, unless a better option comes along

Seems that Xbar has issues, at least on the Q. I don't know what your phone looks like but anyway

There is a new app coming out from a guy handled paradiddle on Qusers.com that will have cut copy paste. I used to use Xbar on my old i600 and miss it dearly. http://www.qusers.com/forum/viewtop...der=asc&start=0

xbar 3 has issues on the Q because of the screen orientation, it should work with no problems on the 8500 as it is simply a standard HTC SP screen. I use it and it's absolutely great, copy & past is just part of what it does.

Could be. But it definately doesn't work on the Q because there is no volume up and down with which to use copy/paste.

Anybody ever used Imenu? It has copy and paste too but I can't get it to work even with the evb addins.

i tried imenu on my qtek 8500 with no luck

i wish xbar had a trial because i would like to test it out. there have been to many reports of issues with it to want to shell out money first. Can people comfirm no issues with qtek 8500?

right now i am trying Nine way keypad(2.2). It adds copy/paste plus i like the page down feature. So far the only draw back is hanging up phone calls when it is functioning because it uses the phone end button to toggle on and off. I am going try and contact the manufacterer to see i am doing anything wrong. It is a bit cheeper then xbar and at least i know what i am getting. Some one with a Q may want to give it a try
