My newest KX5 problem

It seems if I leave the phone on for awhile, it looses the sounds. If I make a call where I have to press 1. It won't recognize it. I have to power cycle the phone. It's almost like my computer...when you gotta reboot... Anyone else have this problem??

Not to hijack your thread but I have another problem that has been here the whole time but Ive just now thought to post about it..

How come with this phone, say I talk to girl A for 30 minutes and then talk to her again for 40 minutes, under recent calls it only mentions her once for 40 minutes like the first time didnt happen... Like i wanted to kno how long i talked to her under outgoing calls but the only one that saves is the most recent.. I hate that.

Any way to fix it??

I don't know about the first problem, but the second problem is easy.

Recent calls only shows one call per number.

Go into All Calls (or something similar, I do not have my phone right now.) to see all the calls you've made and all the time you've spent.

why worry about the time?

i hate that too, but ive had several other kyocera phones, rave, energi, and the original slider haha, now i have the kx5 and they all do that so i guess thats just how kyocera's os or whatever works

YES...I have had my KX5 for about a month now, I have noticed the same problem! Thanks to this forum I have been able to lengthen the video record time, assign mp3 ringtones, activate the imbedded games as well as assign new wallpaper...YAY! No ALLTEL FEES...YIPPEE Thanks A million guys!

SanDisk also makes a USB card reader called the mobilemate that is great for transfering files to the memory chip! No Cable needed for about $16.

As far as the loss of keyboard tones, I had my My Key Volume set on level 1, I set it up to 3 Bars and no more problems so far....check key volume under SETTINGS>SOUNDS>KEY VOLUME.

I also have the Kyocera Tools saved in my email if anyone needs it let me know ;-)
