Clean Flash

Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if everyone knows how to do a "clean flash". My phone is running half Verizon firmware and half Alltel firmware (it's a V3c by the way). Maybe you guys know what I'm talking about. Is there anyway to flash it completely to Alltel firmware? I still have the Verizon splash screens etc. This phone was orginally a Bell Mobility firmware phone, but then curiousity got the best of me.

Thanks

Also, I have an another untouched Bell V3c, has anybody been successful getting the firmware off of it or is there a way that I "image/ghost" its data onto my other phone minus ESN etc.

we only had seen the "flashes" leaked, not the "flex" so you're not going to be able to do much better than you have.

Do you know of any way to get the web functionality back on my phone since the Bell parts are missing? Is there a way to install JAVA capability?

Only way to install java... flash with firmware that includes java...

as far as i know there is no leaked BELL V3C firmware out there...
if there is, check http://www.humpa.com/vzw or http://ryfiles.com/flash those are the only places I know that might have it...

As for web functions... if your carrier is BELL like your profile says... I am not sure... then again.. I'm not sure I understand why you would have flashed with the Verizon or Alltel firmware either...

Ya, I know that it was pretty dumb to Flash to those two. I should've maybe done a little reasearch first.... Whoops! I want to switch to a Rogers phone and plan now since I would be able to toy with the phone more, but I got a really good deal with Bell. I guess that I'll wait out the contract.

Thanks
