For some reason I'm missing something here .. I have the Snapmedia software. It appears to have 5300 support because the .dll in the install directory is a 5300multi dll, but I can't get the software to work with the phone.

When launching..for some reason says "reading contacts from phone..." pauses.. asks me to choose a com port .. of course there is none because I am using USB. I choose one anyway (even choosing the one that is a virtual com for the 5300 modem.)

Pauses.. asks me to pick the device. I choose the 5300 or 4900 .. then I get an error message. ( I see the multimedia software in the background) .. I click OK and the software closes down.

Pisses me off. I can use Snapsync for my contacts just fine, but Snapmedia is giving me bigtime problems. It seems like the most recent version, but I don't know.

Can someone help me out with this, or hook me up with a version that has worked easily with their 5300?
