i know ur frustrated, but opening multiple threads with pretty much the same question really isn't going to help...The person you should be talking to is the manager who wants to hire you. Not HR. I'm pretty sure HR deals with employment issues only after you've been hired. If the manager really wants you then he'll pull the necessary strings to get you in, regardless if you passed the evaluation quiz or not. If your going through all this and your not getting a response from him, then maybe that says something...

sorry about the multiple threads.
the only reason i am pushing on this is i want to get hr to review the assesment and reopen it so i can get it taken completely... got to love cingulars failure to post a contact number for issues with the careers site.
the manager has been trying his connections left and right but keeps getting told "no"
seems silly to me that a manager cannot get hr to reverse a decision if he wants to pursue a canidate.
oh well

I don't mean to sound cynical, but after reading all of the responses saying that the manager can pull the necessary strings if he wants to, it sounds suspiciously like maybe he's really not pulling them.

he is... we both were on a 3way with me being silent when his RM said they could not override it...
i need to speak with a recruiter to get this fixed apparently
