Blue stores vs. orange stores... what's the diff your area?

In nor-cal, blue stores get away with just about anything... I work at a blue store, and we don't worry about much other then our sales numbers. From what I hear orange stores are much more by-the-book.. like a customer complaint can get you in trouble. Where in blue stores, at least in my area, we pritty much just keep things on the d-l and only use the book in severe cases.

In this market (where we were all blue before the merger) we're as close to an orange store as a blue one can get, besides the way we look. Course we don't really have an actual pre-merger orange store to compare us to.

Orange stores here complained when their chairs where removed, staged a rally and called the Herald, blue had no chairs

I work in the Blue store, and we acually have an orange store in the same mall as us (we used to be AT&T), from what I can tell, we both operate the same.
