Proper care after Razor v3m got wet....

I've got a friend who has a pink Razor v3m, and apparently she got it wet within the last few weeks. I know this because the dot is pink. And yes she didn't have insurance, so yes she is screwed.

What the phone is doing, is booting up fine, but once it's at the main screen none of the buttons work except the power button to turn on or off. If you close the phone, then flip it open, it automatically displays the 7 key on the screen and begins dialing the #7 speed dial. Also, if someone calls the phone it rings just fine, but after pressing send, all you hear is a tone, similar to a tornado warning.

Now, I'm not too familiar with Motorolla phones (I usually use LG), could I... reflash it, might that help? Nothing is wet anymore to dry out. I do have Motorolla Phone Tools....

Unscrew it and put a blowdryer to it??

Or does she have a nice pink hockey puck?????

Pull the batter right away; clean the board with a hog hair brush and Isoprol alcohol or safety wash. Air dry then use compressed air makes sure the LCD is still intact. put back together and hope for the best

never turn on the phone right after its been water damaged. i don't think theres anything u can do about it anymroe

might try buy a new keypad on ebay cuz prob that one is shorted. they are cheap and might work.
