KX5-how do i save pictures/video to the memory card?

i was tryin to save the photos as i was taking them right onto the memory card so i could just insert card into card reader on computer to upload them but when i would try to take a pic the phone would show a message "unable to save"....i have mp3's and ringtones saved on the card already could that be my problem, i have more than enough room, is it possible to save pics/vids with them on there already?

yeah it formatted when i put it in the phone......its holding mp3's right now, but i wanna be able to save the pictures i take with the phone onto the camera.....shouldnt it be formatted for that already?

Go to Memory Card from the Settings menu, then choose Items to Save and check Camera Pictures.

Or just read the phone's manual...

i have gone into settings and changed it to save to memory card, thats why im confused, and since i did read the manual and it didnt answer my question i figured i would tap into the endless knowledge on this forum.......

It didn't work for me either. I could not save photos to memory card. The manual only talks about using the memory for music. The phone went back today.

that blows, why even have that option in the menu anyways, false hopes i guess, im still gonna work on it though

I got the phone becauce my wife has the motorola v710. she can put mp3's on the memory card and save them in the phone as ring tones. It also lets her save anything from the phone to the card. It sucks that they stopped making that phone. Now USCC has CXXX for phones
