E815 Just not connecting anymore...

I have an E815 and everything was working great. I connected through usb and was able to use MPT to upload mp3, use p2k seem and do all that good stuff. Then one day i was uploading a mp3 to my phone and MPT froze. I was forced to close it and open it back up. But this time it didn't detect the phone. I unplugged it and plugged it back in again but now the computer said that the device was unrecognized. I restarted my comupter still no luck. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers multiple times but still no luck. I can't even seem edit or anything... nothing! Any ideas on how i can get it connected to the computer again?

I have no idea if it helps, but a similar thing happened with my a1200 - working with MPT, then suddenly not.

My phone had gone into a different mode, consuming much of its processing power for some reason. After some fumbling I discovered I could disable certain enabled features to free up the phones resources. I turned off something called 'LV' then everything worked fine.

Just a shot, hope it helps.

I don't know where a feature called LV is. I don't think the E815 has that. It isnt that MPT isn't working, the phone just isnt being detected by anything as even being a phone, just unrecognized device.

i am having the same problem with my V635, mpt sees it but not p2k tools, and i need to fix my melody menu so i can change my ringtones, but p2k isnt seeing it. tried doing what the thread creator tried, any suggestions?
