General Volume

Just wondering what the general volume setting does... Mine's set at 3 by default. What would increasing it or decreasing it do? Sorry if it's a dumb question or alrdy been asked but I searched and came up with nothing. Thanks.

heh I dont think the shutter sound can be turned off in most cases...

I dont think it can be turned off. I heard it's like a law in Japan where it is require to have a shutter sound on all camera phones. Unless u take it apart and disable the speaker lol.

I was asking about the general volume setting but ok. Anywayz it seems like no1 knows what it does. I guess it doesn't really do much?

haha then do you know that other way then? hmm about the general sound, when you press any buttons on the phone, it makes this beeping sound right. That's the general volume for. adjusting that beeping sound

ya, that beeping sound gets cut roughly 14 seconds after any flash or master reset i do.
