Hi, I am brand new to cellphones and this site. I just got a LG VX5300 today, and I am scared about my parents taking the cellphone away from me if I do something to make the bill really high. I have some questions about Verizon Wireless.

1. I have heard that you can send .wav and .mp3 files to your phone through xxxxxxxxxx@vzwpix.com and I tried it and both files could be used as ringtones. My question is, since I have unlimited IN texting plus 500 outside texts, will I get billed the .45 cents for an extra text, or will it be counted free since it might be IN?

2. When I browse the Sony Music Box store, (just browse) will I lose minutes or texts?

3. When someone sends me a text from like Cingular and I open it, does that count towards one of my 500 outside texts or do they just pay for it?

I think I have more questions, but I wanted to get a few in before I went to bed.

4. When I'm roaming and I call someone within the Verizon service (or IN) is that still free?

5. This just came as an intresting thing.. if someone talked on the phone for hours and hours and hours to someone within the IN network, Verizon still wouldn't do anything. Or would they tell them "within reason" or something similar.

1. Text messages are 10 cents and picture messages are 25 cents. Only txt/pix sent to and from a Verizon Wireless phone is "iN". All others including sending them thru vtext.com or vzwpix.com are not "iN".

2. If you subscribed to VCast ($15 a month) it does NOT use minutes. If you do not have the VCast plan it does use mins.

3. Yes, it counts! 500 is for both send and receive.
