I tried searching the forum but came to no specific answer pertaining to my question...so heres my question i currently have a n73 with 400 text and the mobile internet data plan but am looking for a qwerty phone... i was wondering if i bought a used sidekick3 if i could insert my sim and be able to use data as normal or would i have to pay for the sidekick data plan which is 15 somethin more dollars....basically im tryin to see if i can save a few bucks...

Hiptop Data "REQUIRES" a HIPTOP Device to work, if you use any other Phone, you WILL get charged Standard GPRS or WAP PAY PER USE Rates, which in Canada is 4-5 Cents per kilo-byte. Unless you have a GPTS Data Add-on on your account. so in other words, the Hiptop/Sidekick will NOT work with a regular Data/GPRS Account
