I tried searching the forum but came to no specific answer pertaining to my question...so heres my question i currently have a n73 with 400 text and the mobile internet data plan but am looking for a qwerty phone... i was wondering if i bought a used sidekick3 if i could insert my sim and be able to use data as normal or would i have to pay for the sidekick data plan which is 15 somethin more dollars....basically im tryin to see if i can save a few bucks...

No you specifically have to have the sidekick data to use the phone to its full potential. All data on the phone is backed up to dangers servers so if lets say your phone dies all your data is gone. But if you have the data plan once the phone poweres back on it'll re-download everything back to the phone.

You gotta get the sidekick data plan which is only $20 which includes unlimited text, unlimited IM (AIM, MSN, Yahoo), and unlimited internet.
