I have an 8125 to start off...
Ok so 2 nights ago my battery was running low like 13% so i shut the phone off since my charger was in the other room. The next morning i wake up my phone wont power on. So i left it all day on the charger and it never got charged and when i went to look it never had the red light indicating it was charging. Does any one know whats wrong with my 8125???? its not even 2 months old i think

Their is 3 posible reason for this.
A. The phone is defective (after a while of use problems can happen)
B. Battery is just bad
C. Something wrong with the charger

I suggest take it into the local cingular store and ask a sales rep if they have charger that you could test the phone with. If it dose not work then the phone is most likely defective. You can see if Cingular will allow you to return it for a new one but I dont think they will allow you to do that within 30 days of purchase date. If that is the case contact HTC and then will fix it for you.

none of my contatcs were saved to either my sim card or my memory stick. Does this mean i lost all of them?

I took it to the cingular store and they said that i fried the usb port by using an improper car charger which was ment for the RazR. Im sending it out to get a new one thanks for the help and for everyone else make sure you use the correct charger.

Yeah that is something that could cause the problem real quick. Happy they are fixing thou.

Yeah each phone has different charging methods and volts.
