why waste money or time buying/making ringtones?

useful for people with itunes. they not only make a fade for you, but also cut it to 30 seconds and usually in an interested part of the song

well i just cut my own ringtones from mp3's that i have.... and why? because i like to have my ringtone where i want it, not where someone else may think it should be.... plus it takes me about a minute to get it all done... if you consider that a big waste of time then you're nuts
