Hello everyone.
i have a slight problem. i have a motorola v3 and a v330 that i would like to connect to mpt using a bluetooth dongle, class one. it came with bluesoleil software, i believe ivt is the manufacturers.
my problem is not with the dongle, it works great with the software it came with, but i would like to use it with my mpt 4.0+ on my phones. but every time i choose bluetooth as my connection, it ask me for my phone type, i choose one of the two, and i click next. it then ask me to hook up the blue tooth device, so i do, it spends the next ten minutes asking me to connect the device. then it just hangs, and then the back and cancel buttons light up.
before you ask, i set my phones to "broadcast" so to speak with their "find me" features, and i've even used the handsfree section "find device", but nothing seems to work. am i doing something wrong, is that dongle compatible with the software, do i have to get special drivers? any help would be appreciated.
thanks,
michael

Read the documentation that comes with MPT. It says that when using a non-Motorola dongle that you need do let Windows detect it first as a modem, then run MPT detection. Hope this helps.
